Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Left Wrist

I bend my left wrist all the way backwards on Sep. 1st (this year), and I m still having pain, and I have not fully regained my strength in it. I do not have insurance, and just wondering if there might be some at home things I can do to gain strength back, and lessen the pain.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I have studied your case and I think that you might be having wrist sprain or ligament injury. It can be a minor hair line fracture also. It would be great if you can get x ray of the wrist joint to confirm the diagnosis.
If there is no fracture or any wrist arthritis than you can do following steps.
1. Hot water fomentation.
2. Volini gel local application
3. Compression bandage after this.
4. Avoid any weight lifting or any heavy movements.
I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. Tablet Brufen can be taken if pain is severe.
