Hello,

Driving a motor vehicle may cause median nerve compression (carpal tunnel syndrome) which may lead to pain and tingling and numbness.

Other possibilities like a muscle spasm or neuropathy or cervical spondylosis may cause this problem.

Get it done a neurological examination and nerve conduction study.

If necessary may need a cervical x-ray. Take rest, if necessary you may take tab. ultracet.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
