Suggest Remedy For Pain, Nausea And Blood In Urine When Diagnosed With Kidney Stones
I went to the ER Friday. Had xray done, and diagnosed with a kidney stone and infection. Got pain meds and antibiotics (Cipro, percocet). Wasnt any better on Sunday so I went back. They did ct scan and said they didn t see the stone and I was constipated from pain meds, gave me a shot to help that and phenergan for nausea. I m still hurting in my back like I was with stone, still nauseated and blood in my urine.
Hello I share your concern Blood in urine is a matter of concern it could be caused by number of reasons like stone, infection or cancer of the urogenital tract.
Small kidney stone can expell out with urine flow so it might have expelled out that's why CT scan is not showing any stone
In my opinion you should take plenty of fluids orally 4 to 5 liters a day. You should take anti emetic and anti acidity medicines
If it doesn't subside or reappears then you should consult a urologist for examination and IVU procedures to establish a a diagnosis. Hope this answers your question Please feel free to ask for further queries Best wishes
