Suggest Remedy For Pain, Stiffness And Numbness On One Side Of Body
Having pain, stiffness and numbness on the left side of my body. Have been diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel, ruptured disk on left side of neck. Pain, stiffness and numbness runs from left side of neck, shoulder, arm, hand, lower back, left knee, left calf, and weakness and numbness in left foot. Please help!
Hello, The tinglingnumbness and pain along one side of the body is due to your ruptured disc. The disc rupture liberates a fluid which is highly irritating to your nerve roots leading to your symptoms. The healing is a gradual process. You need the disc to seal itself and then regenerate which is only possible with adequate bed rest, Limited movement of your spine and the usage of a collar or brace and a diet rich in protein that would help you recover well. Physiotherapy helps and so does TENS. For your carpal tunnel physiotherapy can be tried and if it does not go down a minor surgery can be done with long lasting relief from symptoms.
Carpaltunel disc rupture does not give rise tosuch symptoms. symptoms akin to left side hemiplegia. may consult neurologist for examination and advise.
