Hi, Clavam 375 mg contains both amoxicillin and clavulanic acid which is used to treat certain infections such as urinary tract infections that include inflammation of the kidney or pyelonephritis and infection of the wall of the urinary bladder or cystitis, skin and skin structure infections like serious bacterial skin infections or cellulitis, lower respiratory tract infections which include inflammation of the airways or bronchitis and infection in the lungs or pneumonia. This medication is also used to treat acute bacterial inflammation within the nasal passages, acute middle ear infection, gum swelling, infection from animal bites. This medication works by killing the growth of bacteria that cause infection. Clavam may cause blistering, loosening or peeling of skin, unusual bruising or bleeding, red skin lesions, often with a purple center etc. If you experience such type of Clavam induced drug reactions, then stop the medication and inform your doctor promptly.
