Suggest Remedy For Painful Bump On The Gum Near Molar
I have a red bump beside my molar. It's been there for about four days but today I ate cereal and found it was red while on the first day it was a white bump and the gun itself was swollen. The next day the swelling went down and it didn't bug me as much as it did the day before. Yesterday I hardly knew it was there other than the occasional time that I would yawn or something. On the first day I wasn't able to completely close my mouth yesterday I was able to and today my left side ( the side on which the red bump is at) I'm struggling to bite down. What is it? Should I visit my dentist?
Hi.. I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your query a small bump over the gums and if it is associated with difficulty in biting there can be a Dental Abscess due to an infected tooth..
But in case if the tooth is not decayed the lump can be a gum abscess or a gum boil due to infection in gums..
In case it is gum infection Scaling following by antibiotics and painkillers will relieve.. In case of tooth infection either Root canal treatment or extraction followed by antibiotics and painkillers will relieve..
Hope this information helps..
