Suggest Remedy For Painful Shoulders After Rotator Cuff Surgery
Hi, I recently had rotator cuff surgery which also a part of my sapula-3/8 -had been excised. My question is this: My right shoulder bones and humerus are misplaced and protruding out of the original set up of shoulder-my shoulder is very painful, possible SLAP tear and then my area were the shoulder bone was cut and it protrudes out of position approx. 1 from original alignment-this was told to me that this was a normal position for shoulder bones to be in when excised and neck pops and clicks as well as my upper right arm-please help me because I am now totally disabled and cannot work-treatment plan is this: more PT with taking Lyrica-thanks
As per my clinical experience, it is a period of around 6 months by which time, the precise healing of rotator cuff surgery takes place. If that period is passed away and the range of motion is limited with clinical examination shows the underlying fibrosis issue most likely. An immedate evaluation of rotator cuff with MRI is most advisable step to follow ahead.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
