Suggest Remedy For Peeling Of Skin On Hands And Fingers
The skin on my 16 yo old son s fingers and hands peel after a couple of weeks of sailing in salt water. He cannot feel textures but does sense hot and cold. This has happened for the last 3-4 years. I worry about further skin break down. He participates on a laser fleet race team.

The symptoms of your son seem to be related to eczema which is an inflammatory skin condition caused by the exposure to the salt water. I recommend using a steroid cream for local application. I also suggest using an antihistamines such as Cetirizine 10 mg daily to relieve the symptoms.
