Suggest Remedy For Persistent Abdominal Pain, Fever And Fatigue
My six year old daughter has been complaining of a stomach ache, with a fever for the past two days. She also developed a stuffy nose this morning. She has not been eating, but has been drink some fluids and sucking on popsciles. She has also been extremely tired, sleeping most of the afternoon Tuesday, and almost all day yesterday. She was actually up and alert this morning for a few hours, but has been back in bed since 2:00. I called the doctor, but they can not get her in to be seen until tomorrow morning. Before I pay way to much money to take her to the ER, I would like another opinion.
The symptoms of your daughter seem to be related to a cold or flu. I recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Tylenol to relieve the fever. I also suggest giving her liquids and rest. The symptoms will relieve gradually in a few days.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
