Suggest Remedy For Persistent Cough With Clear Mucus

Hello, I'm 41 healthy (non smoker) female who had the flu ion September, went to the ER with a horrible cough and was told that it will pass. Here we are almost 4 months later and still have that cough with clear mucus. No fever, no chills, not coughing up blood etc... just this cough that will NOT go away no matter what I take.

Ideally if the cough is persistence more that couple of weeks then this need to be investigated for underlying cause, and the option would be X-ray chest, routine blood examination and other main concern would be Mycobacterial infection, if this turns unremarkable then this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day
