Sir, I am suffering from mild abdominal pain all round the navel area from last 2-3 month, which feels more when i press my stomach round the navel. I discussed with doctor and taken usg abdoman 3 times at a period of 20-25 days. Usg reports were normal but some blood tests shows increased dlc a little. I am unable to digest milk and feel burning stomach if eat a little spicy. So i left both chilli and milk. Doctor tried many meditions and now he gave me some enzymes capsule and nexpro probiotic and colospa retard etc sir kindly give your comments my pain is still as it is. Thank you
As per my clinical experience, the persistent pain in navel area with increased differential count may be indicative of intestine infection most likely. Remote cases of chronic ulcer disorders through H.Pylori infection also have to be ruled out as differential diagnosis approach.
The 3 times ultrasound with normal report mandates the need for further work up by: @ CT scan of the abdomen & pelvis @ Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
