Suggest Remedy For Persistent Pain In The Leg Post Tendon Rupture Surgery

I had an Achilles Tendon Rupture in July 1998. After the operation to repair the tendon I complained of numbness along the side of my right foot. I was told that there may have been damage to the seral nerve and have been taking Gabapentin since 1998. A few years after the tendon repair I went through another operation to see if there was nerve entrapment. I was told that they had severed the seral nerve. However, the pain still persisted and was told that it is phantom pain.

What are your thoughts.
