Suggest Remedy For Pinched Nerve On The Neck After Accident

I was involved in an auto accident 4 days ago. Today I woke up with a bad headache and my neck was hurting worse than it did two days ago when I went back to the hospital, they did an MRI and said that I had some artritus and that the nerves were being pinch through the narrowing of the neck. I don t know what really they were talking about. But I really hurt today and it has made me sick to my stomach.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The pain that you are experiencing in the neck is due to pinching or compression of nerve caused by arthritis.
The trauma caused during accident is not the basic of pain but it has aggravated the pain and brought the pain in notice.
Thus, treatment and management of the arthritis will actually relieve the pain.
Arthritis is an age related process in majority of cases.
Exercise and physiotherapy will be helpful in relieving the pain associated with nerve impingement.
Consult an orthopaedic for further management.

Thanks and take care
