Suggest Remedy For Pleural Effusion

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...i am 18 yrs 40 kg my blood test is normal igm for tb is positive 1.32 ultrasound and xray revealed mild right pleural effusion eating 2 forecox daily by crushing them with 2 sachrin 12mg each for 30 days my fever is gone but my hands tremble after medicine fell drowziness for atleast 14 hrs of medicine is it confirm that i have tb is the dosage correct will pleural effusion get treated from these tabs or i had to undergo tapping suggest diet if possible

Hello
You mentioned that your age is 18 years and weight is 40 Kg . Pleural effusion is confirmed by Ultrasound and X ray , above all Igm is positive for Tuberculosis.
Since fluid is of mild degree so without aspiration it can be treated .
You are taking 2 forecox tablet i.e. rifampicin 225 mg+ pyrazinamide 750 mg +ethmbutol 400 mg + Isoniazide150 mg in each tablet.
Dosage are as follow rifampicin 9 mg/ kg body weight.
Pyrazinamide 30 mg/kg
ethambutol 15-16 mg / kg
Isoniazide 6 mg / kg body
You are 40 kg and according to this weight you are taking over doses and this is the reason of tremble , drowsiness .
When such type of patient visit my clinic I advise them to take these drugs ( as mentioned above ) . Also to take levofloxacin 15 mg / kg body weight in the night .
Also take pntaloc-D twice in day for hyper acidity produces by these drugs and tension.
This treatment should take for 9 months ( after 3 months of intensive treatment ).
