Suggest Remedy For Premature Ejaculation At The Age Of 73
My boyfriend can get an erection but not sustain it. He refuses to exercise but is not a diabetic, does not drink alcohol, and does not smoke, although there is smoking and alcohol use in his history. How can I convince him that exercise will help him to sustain an erection? We are both 73, and he is on B.P. meds.
Hi and thanks for sharing your question with us at HCM.
Some BP meds like beta-blockers (e.g. atenolol) can affect a man's ability to sustain an erection, so it would be useful to consider the group of BP medication your boyfriend is using.
Aging is also another factor to consider here. There is the option of using medication like Viagra (sildenafil) after consulting your regular doctor and making sure there are no contraindications.
Exercise is known to help improve erectile function besides doing a lot of good for the heart and circulation. is there any physical activity that he enjoys, for example dancing, swimming or even taking a brisk walk? 20-30 minutes a day of sustained light activity most days a week can do a lot of good.
The two of you are an inspiration the the younger population. I hope this answer is helpful. Good luck.
