Hello dear, Generally staphylococcus that are developing now is penicillin resistant and methicillin-resistant strains(MRSA) Penicillinase-resistant penicillins (flucloxacillin, dicloxacillin) remain the antibiotics of choice for the management of serious methicillin-susceptible S. aureus (MSSA) infections. And for MRSA: take cephalexin, cephazolin, clindamycin, lincomycin. So better to take combination of both flucloxacin plus cephalexin Hope this may help you. Get well soon. Take care. Thank you.
