Suggest Remedy For Prolonged Diarrhea, Sharp Pain In Stomach And Loss Of Appetite

I returned from Bali 10 days ago on a Friday. On the following Monday I started getting sharp pains in my stomach and diahorrea. It felt like a mini version of Bali belly that I had 6 years ago. I have had diahorrea every morning since then - almost 7 days. I havent vomited but I don t feel like eating either. I often have pain after I have eaten something or drunk a full cup of tea etc.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I appreciate your concern
This could be due to any of these
Acute Gastroenteritis
Fissure in Ano
Hemorrhoids
Gastrointestinal bleeding

In my opinion you should consult a gastroenterologist for examination and an endoscopy if need be.

You should take anti acidity medications like PPI group as pantoprazole and antacids

Have plenty of fluids including ORS and fruit juices
Avoid constipation by taking laxatives or stool softening agent like liquid paraffin
Sitz bath twice daily
Hope this helps you
please feel free to ask for more clarification I will be happy to help you
Regards
