Suggest Remedy For Prolonged Fever In An Infant Post Vaccination

Our 15 month granddaughter had her 15 month shots yesterday (monday) at 11 am. She was fine last night and all day today until about 4 pm. She s running a 102 temp now but just gave her infant tylenol. If that doesn t bring her temp down at what point should we take her to hospital?

HI
Well come to HMC
I really appreciate your concern, just let the run the course of fever and no need to worry about this such fever is positive feed back but of course high grade fever would be matter of concern, if the 102 F does not respond to anti-pyretic and cold sponging then better to see the ER, but most of the time this subsides very soon, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
