Suggest Remedy For Prolonged Pain In Chest Post A Hit During Accident
Hello! I was in a car accident 3 weeks ago & my chest hit the steering wheel. The airbags did not deploy. Had C.T. Scan & chest X-rays which showed no fractures. Was kept overnight after throwing up & released next day. I am 69 yrs. old. I still have chest pain in the sternum & next to sternum (maybe cartledge) 24/7. My family Dr. said it is all inflammation. So I just keep taking 600mg. of Ibuprofen & Roboxan. Driving, lifting anything over a few lbs. causes more pain in my chest. Then about an hr. after getting up in morning I am unbelievably lethargic & very, very tired. Could there be the Drs. are missing something? Could I have torn a muscle or tendon? Would appreciate your opinion! Thank you!
