Suggest Remedy For Puffiness Around The Eye Due To Increased Pollen Counts

By the middle of yesterday I started to develop puffiness round my right eye (but not left). Pressing down on the right upper cheekbone resulted in mild pain (2 on a 1 to 10 scale). Right eye had some mild itchiness. This morning I went to a drug store and got a decongestant, thinking this might be sinus related. Pharmacist said that pollen counts were insanely high right now. Anything else that I should be doing? Didn t know about the fee. Since my health insurance has a duplicate service, I will go to them. Sorry about wasting your time.

Hi. Well puffiness around eye may be due to allergy ,infectio, or due to systrmic diseases lik hypothyroidsm, nephrotic etc. U may visit ophtolomologist to sought out the cause and relevant treatment. If u hav allergy to pollens and ur symptoms of red eye, itching, it might be allergic . Ur doctor may sugest for you steroid/decongestant eye drops if infection is there then antibiotic drops shd b given
