Suggest Remedy For Puppy Bite Post Completion Of A Course Of Rabies Injections
Hi, I had completed a course of rabies injection and anti tetanus year 2011 due to a cat bite. And now 2015, I had bitten by my 6week old puppy while I m feeding him and it bled. I washed it with soap and water already. The wound doesn t seem red or swollen. What should I do next?

You need to take two booster doses of anti rabies vaccine on day 0 and 3 following the puppy bite.
If the wound is cleaned properly there is no need to worry.
There is no need to have a booster tetanus toxoid shot since you have had it within the last five years.
Get your domestic pet animals (cats, puppy) vaccinated against rabies.
