Suggest Remedy For Purple Black Bruise On Buttocks
Hi. I fell off of a jet ski last Saturday and hit the jet ski before falling in the water. I have a huge purple-black bruise on my butt about the size of a large apple, and it seems to have gotten better. It has spread quite a bit and is now purple-red in color, and has raised white bumps that cover it- probably about 20. They are itchy! Do you know what these bumps are?
I understand your concern. First of all, bruises changing color and getting bigger in size is normal and happens commonly on its course of healing. Don't worry about that. Use cold compression locally and take pain killer tablets. It would be better in 7 days. Whereas the bumps are concerned they look like secondary infection. Though it cannot be confirmed without a proper clinical examination, but it seems likely. Use coamoxyclav tablets thrice daily for 5days and levocetrizine tablets once daily for 5days.
Hope this was helpful. Regards
