Ok so I went to a clinic today for a sore throat and slight ear-ache. The doctor said that I had acute pharyngitis, And prescribed me AMOX TR-K CLV 875-125 MG TAB AND DEXAMETHA/LIDOCAINE/CVS DIPHE. I have taken the first one onece and the other twice. The swelling and pain has gone, but in its place it felt like I had a piece of food or something lodged between the side of my tongue and back of my mouth/throat, I used a q-tip to depress my tongue and used a light and mirror to try and see if I could find what I was feeling with the side of my tongue and I found what look to be 2 tiny white balls near each other, I then preceded on trying to gently extract the white ball looking substances just to find out that they were pus pockets. My question is should I proceed on trying to extract the pus?
