Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was attacked by bee's. I was stung 13 times. I was having a hardtime breathing so I hit my neb for 20 mins. My heart was racing for 24 hrs. Some itched really bad others not at all. But 2 still ( 2 weeks later) are red, rasied up and brusied that hurt to the touch. Why? What can I do to help it stop?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain you had a severe anaphylaxis reaction to the toxins released by the bee sting and as there were 13 stings the concentration of the toxin is also much more.. As the other raised bumps have resolved it is a sign of removal of the toxin from the body and as two of them are still inflamed and painful you can take anti-allergics like Levocetrizine.. Apply a steroid ointment over the lumps as it will reduce the inflammation and pain.. You can also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Naproxen.. Do cold compresses over the bumps.. Do not scratch them if they itch as there can be infection due to it..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
