Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing rapid heart beats for about two hours. Periodically I will feel a little nausea and across my rear what feels like a tingling that moves from my waist down. I have also been experiencing some problems with my sciatic nerve for a few days. I have no temperature, head ache or other symptoms. I went to bed and went to sleep but then wake up with the above symptoms. I don t know what to do. I had a recent physical and there didn t appear to be any issues. Any help would be appreciated.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Rapid heartbeats and nausea can be symptoms of several medical conditions, including heart problems, anxiety, and gastrointestinal issues. Given that you have been experiencing these symptoms for a few hours, it is important to seek medical attention immediately.
In the meantime, try to remain calm and take slow, deep breaths. You can also try relaxation techniques like meditation or yoga to help manage your symptoms. If you have any medication prescribed by your doctor for anxiety or heart conditions, take them as directed.
