Suggest Remedy For Rashes And Itching On Penis Due To Std

I am aged 36 male/80 kgs with diabetic recently got a std from my wife where her birth control needle is lowered having some infection, i did an intercourse during her medication where i got the infection from her & having rashes & itchy on my genitical parts request to advice a remedy for same

Thank you for query.It may be due to fungal infection.Please take following precautions.Use loose cotton clothes.Keep area dry.Apply antifungals like clotirimazole.clean the area twice daily with warm water.oral antifungals like flucanazole 150 mg weekly once can be taken.Treat your partner also to prevent recurrence.Good control of diabetes is most important to prevent recurrence.consult doctor if does not subside.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
