Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was diagnosed with reactive arthritis. Since then I changed my walking pattern. I get frequent left side lower back/ hip pain, aggreviated by sit ups or squats. Also, once the pain kicks in, a few days later i start to feel stiffness on the outside of my thigh. I think that have a tilted pelvis. Please suggest some definitive diagnosis along with treatment.
I think just life style modification is not going to cure you completely. I would rather suggest you to start disease modifying medicines such as HCQ and SAAZ . Also start taking strong ant inflammatory medicine like Piroxicam or Indomethacin for pain. Avoid exposure of the cold and also use hot water bath in morning. If there is very bad pain then you can take steroid tablet also but for short time. Injections can also be given in joints.
