Suggest Remedy For Rectal Inflammation And Difficulty In Bowel Movement
My daughter has been complaining of not being able to pool & I initially thought hemroids so we ve been using the cream. I just checked her a few minutes ago & inside the anus is extremely red & almost inflamed. I m not sure exactly what s wrong... But it dosent seem right. What could it be?
Red,inflamed or even itching over anal region could be due intestinal parasites, diarrhea, candidiasis or anal fissures etc.
Your daughter must be diagnosed before taking any specific treatment. For that, she must be checked by surgeon for complete history and thoroughly clinical examination.
She may require routine blood count, stool examination for R/M ova and cyst and proctoscopy etc.
Treatment is mainly depend on the underlying cause but she may require full course of antibiotics (quinolones-ofloxacin with antiprotozoals like metronidazole or ornidazole) for minimum 7 to 10 days with antihelminthic, antihistamines and topical steroids and lignocaine in combination for symptomatic relief.
So,kindly consult surgeon and get examined before taking any specific treatment.
Thanks and Regards,
