Suggest Remedy For Recurring Airway Obstruction During Pregnancy

Hi doc.. I am writing behalf of my wife, she is in the 8th month of pregnancy . From yesterday onwards she is having an obstruction on her throat. I advised her to do salt water gargle and steam inhalation. She did that. She had a Tab. Pan - D last night. She was perfectly fine in the morn.a couple of hours before she is having the same throat conjection like something is stucking in the right side of the throat.why it so ? Pls do reply

Hi,

The throat pain and obstruction your wife has seems to be inflammation of tonsils in her neck. That is why the gargles helped. But possible infection there would need antibiotic like Azithromycin in required dosage for complete cure along with gargles. Please consult your gynecologist for advise of dosage according to your specific need and also other accompaniments.
