General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, various clinical possibilites have to be sorted out for recurring bacterial infection post hysterectomy.

- low immunity
- uncontrolled diabetes
- vault inflammation ( chronic basis ) through previous suturing via chromic catgut suture material
- vaginal sex related sexually transmitted infections
- pelvic inflammatory conditions
- recurrent urinary tract infections
- drug resistant bacteria
- inadequate therapy of previous infections
- recurrence of neoplasia

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
