Hi,

You have headache, chest pain, acid reflux and vertigo. You have also given a history of emphysema.See there can be multiple reasons for all these problems. We need to have a detailed clinical history to evaluate the same. Still, I will try to give you a brief description. Usually headache and vertigo can be associated with anemia (low hemoglobin), low blood pressure, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), lack of proper sleep or prolonged fasting.

These causes can also lead to acid reflux which can cause chest pain especially if you are consuming too much spicy, oily food and lots of tea or coffee. Besides vertigo can be due to brain related problems (infections or swelling), problems of ear (infections neuritis) or heart related problems (rhythm disturbances, reduced blood flow). Even some vitamin deficiencies and hormone abnormalities can cause the symptoms. In your case we even need to look for lungs related disorders- infections or increase of emphysema.

I feel you should try to focus on your lifestyle, take good diet, good sleep, and avoid oily and spicy food. Start taking some multivitamins. Also, it will be better if you go for some investigations if the symptoms persist- like complete blood count, vitamin D, vitamin B12, sugar levels, CRP, ECG and chest X-ray. Once the results are there we can make a proper diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
