Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi..I am experiencing internal fever that keeps on recurring even if i already had taken paracetamol. I always feel that my body is very hot inside but i have a normal body temperature. I always drink a lot of glasses of water daily but i don t feel relieve. I do not have any medical history or illness. What should i do with this?
I think you can test the thyroid gland function to check for hyperthyroidism that may cause elevated body temperature. You can test T3, T4 and TSH levels.
Hypothyroidism is a possibility but other causes may happen to cause it. Also, do a total blood count and biochemical blood balance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
