Suggest Remedy For Recurring Pain In Upper Abdomen With Diarrhea And Cough
The past week I have been getting pain in upper abdomen between ribs, stomach actually feels like it is on fire and my ribs start to hurt real bad and become sore to touch, I also have times of diareah , have been coughing and after eating sometime vomit from coughing
Noted your history of loose motions, pain in upper abdomen, rib pains, coughing and vomiting particularly after eating something. The commonest causes I can think about are as follows: Gastroenteritis due to food poisoning or intestinal infection. Hence I would advise you the following: Consult at ER or your regular Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of blood and stool. This will get you the correct diagnosis and thus allow a proper management. Till then take only fluids orally. Take a PPI like Omeprazole if you have. Take probiotics and symptomatic treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
