Suggest Remedy For Recurring Throat Pain With Dry Cough
my daughter is 6years old. she is getting throat pain on and off every 3months once,without fever only dry cough and difficulty on swallowing and pediatricians are telling its is adenoid enlargement. and they do put her on antibiotics. when we will get rid of these adenoid pain.period she is really suffering during that period. please do advice us.
Hi. Noted history related to your 6 years old daughter. The symptoms of recurring throat pain and dry cough can be adenoids as suggested. In this case it is important to get a correct diagnosis either by X-ray or by MRI of the pharynx. If adenoids are present give her medical treatment for 3 weeks including oral steroids and she may be fine. If the medical management fails you can go for adenoidectomy. There are all new machines and method to make it very safer now-a-days. Since Pediatrician has seem, chances of asthma are less. It is also better to go for X-ray of the chest and blood tests to rule out other problems.
