Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have recently gotten small red bumps around my pelvis and butt region. Looking as if it spread from wiping after going to the bathroom. Now I have these even smaller skin colored bumps on the tops of my hands, forearms, back of arm, a little behind my legs, and on different areas of my waist and stomach.
It could be of great help if you could send a photo of the red bumps in your pelvic region, and the small skin colored bumps on the tops of your hands, forearms, back of arm, and behind your legs, different areas of your waist and stomach. From your description, it seems like scabies, however, we should evaluate the skin bumps first.
You can see your dermatologist if cannot manage to send to me. For the moment, I can only advise to keep good personal hygiene. Take antihistamine orally in case you feel itchiness, and apply calamine lotion locally.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
