Suggest Remedy For Red Spots In Feet With Sore Throat

My 12 year old sister has red spots on the bottom of her feet, they are painful to walk on and she keeps complaining about a sore throat. My cousin had it and.passed it to her sister and mom...now my sister. Help? Is there anyway to make it less painful or healing faster?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history your sister is probably having viral rash.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
