Suggest Remedy For Redness In Eye After Accidental Application Of Vapour Rub Mixture
My 11 month old got some vapour rub mixture in his eyes. I gave him a bath and he slept the next morning he woke up perfect then, after giving him a bath he started screaming and was opening his eyes funny then it got red. I took him to the doctor and he gave me an eye drop and some tablets. Is that enough to help him.
As per your query your 11 month old son suffering from redness of eyes after accidental application of vapour rub in his eyes . Well there can be many reasons for redness of eyes like allergic reaction . Sometimes the content of vapour rub like camphor and menthol cause allergic reaction in eyes and can also cause mild conjunctivitis , which iss not a serious condition so there is nothing to panic . I would suggest you to wash his eyes with water 2-3 times . If redness doesn't go away or get worse the consult pediatrician without any delay to assess the damage . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic drugs along with anti inflammatory .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
