My girlfriend of two years was just recently tested and it came back she has no sexual transmitted disease but when we have sexual inter course the tip of my penis skin rises and turns red like a irritation it doesn t burn when I pee or hurt any other time other then that any suggestions ?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Redness of tip of penis after intercourse can occur due to mechanical trauma or irritation. In case you are using condoms, redness can occur due to allergy to latex which is present in condoms. Sexually transmitted diseases usually present as rash, discharge, enlarged lymph nodes, ulcer etc. If any of these symptoms appear, you need to consult your doctor for clinical assessment and management. Practicing safe sex (protected sex) is the best way to avoid sexually transmitted infections. As for now, avoid sexual activity for some time and observe the redness.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
