Suggest Remedy For Retina Detach Problem
hi i am Ravi, my father(age 62) has been recently diagnosed to retina detached problem, before 2 year ago he started to experience black shade in top vision which gradually increases to the centre, now he has lost his complete vision of left eye, now what are the chances of the recovery of retina detachment, please advise on this

When the detachment involving the central part of retina is fresh that is within 7-10days and is taken for surgery then the prognosis is very good.But the longer the time taken for surgery will deteriote the vision more...So if diagnosis is confirmed and sooner the surgery is done the better the chances of recovery.
