Suggest Remedy For Runny Nose, cough And Wheezing

My 10 month old son has had a runny noise, cough and some weezing over the last 4 days. I took him to see his doctor today and he gave me a perscibtion for albuterol and a breathing machine. And it seems odd to me that he is treating my son's symtoms as if it was asthma. Looking for opinions on what to do.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi dear
welcome to the HCM,
Probably Child is suffering with Respiratory Tract Infection.
Needs to be treated with some antihistaminic and decongestant along with antipyretics for bodyache and fever. Depending upon the examination he may also require some relevant antibiotc to clear of the chest infection.
Since the child is having wheezing symptoms ,so he may require to be given some bronchodilators like salbutamol either in oral form or inhaled form.
Inhaled form are supposed to be with least side effect , so it is now days much promoted among pediatricians.
hope the query is answered.
thanks
