Suggest Remedy For Ruptured Ear Drum

I was hit by a large wave today and ruptured my eardrum. When I plug my nose and blow, I can hear air blowing through the ear. There was bleeding, but has subsided. There is still puss leaking and the ear seems clogged. My question is, tomorrow I am scheduled to drive to mammoth lakes, elevation 7,800 ft, where I will stay 3 days before traveling further on to Yosemite. I m thinking it is not advisable to go to these elevations with a ruptured ear drum? Please advise. Thanks.

Hi, by your history it is sure that you are having traumatic ear drum perforation, best thing you can can do now is to avoid water entry to ear by plugging your ear, since you are having pus discharge you must start on antibiotics. If you take proper precautions as mentioned above the perforation will heal on its own.t.c.
