Suggest Remedy For Severe Bouts Of Cough With Symptoms Of Larangitis

Last week I had terrible headache followed few days later by cough (other family members had this same pattern). Have had cough for 5 days and am now coughing up thick, rubbery, light yellowish, sticky phlegm and my throat and tonsils are tender. I can only get the phlegm out by gargeling with apple cider vinegar water. My nasal passages are clear and my breathing is fine. The coughing bouts are severe and I have larangitis like symptoms as well but do not feel ill. This seems to have hit me harder than other family members.

Hello,

You may be suffering from upper respiratory tract infection with lower respiratory tract infection. Mucus may be due to lower respiratory tract infection. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clauvulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Use water vapor inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use syrup Ascoryl for five days. If symptoms not improved please get it done chest X-ray, complete blood picture and blood sugar. Please review with reports or consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
