Suggest Remedy For Severe Dizziness After Head Injury

Earlier today I was out with some friends in his pool, being the boys we are my head hit the bottom of the pool pretty hard. The only thing i felt at the time was a bit of dizziness, but a couple hours later now i just shake my head a bit and pain is irritating me. Do I possibly have a concussion?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com You do describe a situation where you probably had a concussion. I am not sure that you had the force under water to cause a concussion, but you relate the symptoms. Please note that the pain and symptoms should resolve in about 2-3 weeks. I would avoid such activities for the next week or so, now if the pain and dizziness does not resolve in a week then IO would seek medical advice to get some sort of imaging. Please note that if you also have blurred vision, slurred speech and worst headache of your life I plead with you to go into an ER immediately as this would be a sign that things are changing for the worst. I hope this helps. Good luck.
