Suggest Remedy For Severe Fatigue When Suffering From Afib

I am a 68 year old woman, who has low cholesterol, no blockages and was in excellent health. I danced 5 hrs. a week and engaged in many activities. until I started having irregular hearbeats and then developed aFib. I have had 2 unsuccessful cardioversions. I want a recommendations for an Ablation surgeon, hopefully in the Baltimore/D.C. area(or close) with a high rate of success with this procedure. I have no energy, have lost my zest for life and want to enjoy the time I have left, but find it impossible because of my severe fatigue and lack of energy. Please advise. Thank you. Barbara

Hello,

Since you have been unsuccessful to be treated with cardioversion, I would surely suggest expert opinion from a cardiologist and earliest possible ablation would treat your irregular heartbeats hence, during those irregular beats what cardiac function is affected its causing you fatigue will be treated. Before getting ablation done cardiologist will run some other tests to confirm how highly you require ablation only.
