Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Joints After Taking Nystatin Liquid For Oral Candidiasis
Was diagnosed with oral candida and was prescribed nystan liquid for 7 days. Struggled to finish the course as I developed severe neck pain and joint pain. Almost 3 weeks later I am still in severe pain with joint pain, will this get better some time soon?
Severe neck and joint pain is usually not seen. Common Side effect; Gastrointestinal: Diarrhea (including one case of bloody diarrhea), nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal upset/disturbances.
Dermatologic: Rash, including urticaria has been reported rarely. Stevens-Johnson syndrome has been reported very rarely.
Other: Tachycardia, bronchospasm, facial swelling, and non-specific myalgia have also been rarely reported. So you may consult with Rheumatologist or orthopedic surgeon
