Groin pain is indicative of hernia, muscle strains,
bursitis, fractures, pinched nerve because of some muscle tension and lumber disc degeneration may cause persistent groin pain. You are suggested to get clinically assessed and get treated for hernia or
disc prolapse or degeneration to reduce the discomfort you have. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.
In the meantime you can take NSAIDS, one SOS for relieve when needed. Take antacids to avoid
acid reflux. Applying hot pack will relieve muscles & application of cold help to reduce swelling if any. Do stretch exercises to get relieved of the pain and
numbness due to the pinched nerve.
Take
vitamin B1, B6, B12 to treat nerve numbness, get examined by a Neurologist/GP. Patients with L4-L5 protruding herniation of the anulus fibrosus are most likely to experience groin pain.
