Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Muscle And Joints
Hi i m kanika my husband is 38 and has spinal muscular atrophy type 3. Tsh level was around 15 initially. Last checked a month ago and it was 8.taking thyronorm 100 mg for last one year.the dosage was less earlier.started taking medicine 4 years back.lately he has severe pains in muscles and joints which has restricted his daily movements and also the exercise.can it be the side effect of thyronorm??plz advise
There is no known side effect of muscle & joint pain with Thyronorm. However, low thyroid level may definitely cause muscle pain. Therefore, in your case either the dose of Thyronorm is still low or it had been low previously for a long time, which has caused muscle pain to you. If the etiology is low thyroid level, then the things should improve after some time of your thyroid level being normal. If after sometime, your symptoms are not resolved, you are advised to see your doctor for further diagnosis and treatment in regards to your symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
