Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Upper Hip And Pelvic Area With Numbness And Tingling

I have developed a problem with what feels like the tearing of flesh and from the tissue of the upper hip tissue leading around to the top of my pelvis, this comes along with numbness and tingingling, and this occurs most when I turn over in bed and the pain is unbelievable. I am already on oxycontin and morphine for my back, but this pain exceeds that. I have poked around the area, and have found that there is soreness around the hip joint. I have osteo, lupus, fibro, and have had two fusion in the lower back. What can I do?

Hello,

Numbness and tingling sensation in hip and leg region can be due to compression of the nerve supplying the leg region. In addition, various other disorders like lupus, fibromyalgia can also be the cause of these sensations. I suggest you to consult your physician for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.

Hello,

It looks like that your lower spinal cord nerves are entrapped in that area leading to such type of pain. You require a neurological examination followed by MRI of the back to know the exact level of nerve entrapment followed by suitable management.
