Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain With Pressure In Finger Post Lifting Heavy Weight

hello,
I lifted a seat cover with the tip of my ring finger (right hand) and herd a popping noise and it swelled, but no discoloration. I can move it freely with no pain, but if i put pressure on it, it is close to unbearable pain. Pain is mostly on the bottom left side (from my point of view) behind my fingernail.
Note sure what's going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to musculo-skeletal injury, either fracture or dislocation of finger joint.
X ray of the hand can be done to rule out any fracture or bone chip.

Symptomatic relief can be obtained by application of ice, analgesic & muscle relaxant gel, intake of analgesics like Diclofenac (to be taken after food) + Pantoprazole (to be taken 30 minutes before meals).
Supplements of Calcium & Vitamin D can be included in your diet which will help in strengthening of bones.

There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Till then, maintain adequate hydration & nutrition status, take proper rest and avoid stress.

Wishing you a Good Health.
Take care.
