Suggest Remedy For Severe Side Effects After Taking Paxil

Since being put on paxil I m experiencing severe reactions. 30 minutes after taking it I m literally sitting and rocking myself to death. And if it does kick in it doesn t last very long. I m sitting and rocking and shaking so bad until my next dose. Is there anything I can take to help with this? I want off this stuff so bad....

You are worried about taking paxil and the side effects you are experiencing. I do recommend that you contact you doctor and have him switch you to a different medication. It sounds like you are have extrapyramidal symptoms. This is where the body can't sit still and has continued jerking motions similar to Parkinson's disease. You need to wean off the paxil to limit the withdrawal symptoms seen with taking paxil for a long time. I recommend that you seek you doctor and have them change your medication to a NSRI like Effexor.
